„Modification of Noble Metal Nanoparticles on Conducting Materials”

Noble metal nanoparticles have been attracting active attention as functional units for electroanalysis because they can change the electronic communications on the base conductive materials. Our group proposed a simple chemical method to attach noble metal nanoparticles on indium tin oxide surfaces and applied the modification to various fields. The results will be presented including the past progresses and the present problems. In addition, in recent years, we are interested in the modification of noble metal nanoparticles on different base conducting metals using galvanic replacement reactions. The trials and progresses will be also presented.
