General information
The International Scientific Committee and the Organising Committee are very pleased to invite you to participate in 7 th International Symposium on Applied Electromagnetics – SAEM'18, which will be organized in the congress and conference centre in the peaceful atmosphere of Terme Olimia, Podčetrtek, Slovenia. The town of Podčetrtek and Terme Olimia are located in the south of Slovenia, near the Slovenian-Croatian border.

Scope
The symposium SAEM'18 is aimed at the presentation of research work results, as well as the survey of works in Applied Electromagnetics and Power&Energy area in a broad sense. The symposium is devoted to exchanging ideas, presenting recent achievements and results. It provides a wide forum for academics and engineers to discuss all aspect of Electromagnetics and Power&Energy Applications. Many members of Applied Electromagnetics community are strongly involved in the work on the field of Power&Energy as well. Consequently, the list of symposium topics is slightly extended. Contributions are encouraged from, but not limited to, the themes and topics in the following areas:

  • Coupled Problems and Applications
  • Optimization and Computer Aided Design
  • Electromagnetism in Materials
  • Applied Electromagnetics in Electrical Engineering
  • Bioelectromagnetics and Electromagnetic Hazards

  • Low Carbon Technologies and Strategies

Contributions
English will be the official language of the Symposium. Prospective authors are kindly asked to prepare a single-spaced one-column two-page digest, including the title, authors and their affiliation, as well as the main content of the paper, results, figures and references. The digest files (both WORD and PDF) should be submitted by e-mail to the SAEM'2018 Organizing Committee (Ten adres pocztowy jest chroniony przed spamowaniem. Aby go zobaczyć, konieczne jest włączenie w przeglądarce obsługi JavaScript.) not later than therespective deadline announced below. All papers will be reviewed on the basis of the digest. The Book of Digests will be published in electronic form on either pen-drive or CD, and will contain all the preliminary accepted papers, received by the specified deadline. The authors of the accepted digests will be asked to present their paper(s) in either poster or oral form.
On the basis of the digest and the presentation at the conference, a number of selected papers will be published in Polish journal Przegląd Elektrotechniczny and Slovene journal Journal of Energy Technology.

REGISTRATION
The regular registration fee is 660 € and covers: author’s package, admission to the sessions, a copy of the Book of Digests published on USB, accommodation (3 nights in a double room), welcome dinner, 3 lunches, coffee breaks, welcome reception, banquet dinner and social events during the symposium. Single rooms, subject to additional payment, are also available. The registration fee for accompanying persons is 400 € and covers: accompanying person’s package, accommodation (3 nights in a double room), 3 lunches, coffee breaks, welcome reception, banquet dinner and social events during the symposium.
